Its content includes a history of the town, the climate, the natural beauty, the cultural diversity and up to date photographs by the well known photographer Bernard Jordaan.
There are also brand new aerial shots of the new golf estate and the revamped Old Harbour-area with its market place. Some beautiful whale shots were taken by Jean Francois Avenier, the Frenchman who has made Hermanus his home and has become a dedicated follower of the whales and the Great White sharks. The last part of the book contains a very attactively presented and handy business directory with everyting from accommodation to restaurants, to wineries and wine farms and travel and estate agents.
